This is one of the reasons why so many people are having issues with upgrading to their free DLC from the base version while those with AE get it automatically without any upgrade. Keys already sold to retailers and online venders prior to this may be either version. From this point on any new keys released by Capcom will be for AE only, that is the only difference. The post at the top, by a developer, specifically states that all pre-purchased and other copies sold in the future of the base version will automatically be upgraded to AE version. Also, that's a non-authorized key store which is why they wanna make it look like a good price. There is no standard DR3 retail box for PC. This should not be the case and is entirely Capcom's fault and this can be further verified by the fact that those with the basic edition's key are having issues getting the free dlc atm. Both the basic version and AE version are being sold online, not just the AE version.
